Today I want to blog a video from the Nancy Barrus Couture shoot I did this fall. To see the final image from the video please go to this entry, Nancy Barrus Couture Dress Add Shoot The video is FUN but don't give the shots justice.
Just wanted to chare one of my favorite candid shots with you before I take the week end. The wedding couple is walking out the doors in St Mary's Catholic Church in Park City ,Utah following their ceremony. Please have a nice Sunday, next week I will finish the My Camera Room series from my InStudio Photographics.
Just wanted to post one of my favorite images from the overview image in the InStudio Camera room August 18th 2008 blog. 2 fill lights, 2 main lights + a hair/edge light, all Elinchrom. Also had a bright silver Photoflex reflector help with the edge light from the back.
When I was going out to clean some snow this morning, there was good news from FedEx and Nik Software on the doorstep :-) : The NEW Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete Edition that was recently announced. What an amazing version woooooow, I'm just smiling BIG! Let me just quote some of the things Nik Software wrote in their letter to me: Color Efex Pro 3.0 now integrates Nik Software's patented U Point technology, providing enhancements that can now be applied precisely, with non-global adjustments. With 52 filters, producing more then 250 effects, Color Efex Pro 3.0 can perform high quality retouching, color correction and endless creative enchantments to any photograph. U Point-powered Control Points make it easy to selectively add, modify, and remove a filter effect. Award-winning U-Point technology gives you ultimate control to selectively apply enhancements WITHOUT the need for any complicated masks, layers or selections. THIS SOFTWARE ROCKS!!!!!! There is a period of about 20 minutes of a Wedding Reception I get VERY active. It's when the balance between the sky and room is perfect. Indoors it will give you perfect blue in the windows; outside just the very best blue sky. The image in today's blog is from an atrium so it has a glass roof. Take advantage of this time to get the best overviews, it starts usually around 5-10 minutes after the sun is down. I'm excited about our next Wedding School sponsored by Canon and The International School of Photography March 3-5th at Pictureline, Salt Lake City, Utah.See link: education at kennethlinge.com. We also have a few places left for our Photographing People Part 1 seminar (all levels) in Salt Lake City this Saturday the 26th. My first week of Studio consulting in Denmark is sold out, but I have some openings week 2, Feb.18-20th.
Hope you all have a great Martin Luther King Day, what a great man!
