In October I was fortunate enough to get to attend PhotoKina 2010 in Cologne, Germany the worlds largest Photo Fair. I have wanted to work with a small compact flash system with an octa for a long time. The timing was right, Elinchrom (which is already what I use in my studio etc.) had the most amazing solution for me. The NEW Elinchrom Ranger Quadra RX offers many new exciting features. See link.

Being a gadget man of course I fell totally for this feature. You can use your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to control your Elinchrom RX flash lights! ( Application available early 2011.) Check out this link on their website.

I guess by now you know what I am getting soon? Yes, this was the answer to what I want. If I had written written a wish list for a portable unit, this unit got it all covered. I love the new LED modeling light. Can hardly wait to get my hands on it :-) Check it out!
